Default In My Opinion

Visayas can be a self-sustaining nation, without the need of help from Imperial Manila. It is also the same thing for Mindanao.

Hmm... since the protests against Arroyo is going bigger, those militants disregard the threat of two politicians that they will secede from Philippines should resignation or ouster ensue.

Let's think of possible scenarios should our country be partitioned or let's say, just after resignation (should occur).

A lot of provinces including Negros are thinking this way and this will have a domino effect.Â* Just imagine if the opposition in Manila will insist on GMA's ouster.Â* We will become the United States of the Philippines. Well not officially yet of course. It is not impossible that Imperial Manila will cause this country's divide.

...and ang mga gulang na politicians doesn't like that idea. WHY? because there will be lesser revenues to pocket and their scope of power and influence will become smaller.

Your Congressman will lose his pork barrel. He is the first one to kill your proposal.

Tomas will lose SRP to talisay.

Your electric bill will rise. No Napocor to pay for your oil. With that, everything you buy will rise.

If you really want to have an independent Cebu, you should start circulating your own money now. Pay only City Tax.

Tempest, agree ko uban nimong ideas. Pero puede can you either reply in Cebuano or English. Kay imong tagalog O.A. ra. In short wala'y angay. I see so many people like you here in Manila, nga pa tagalog tagalog obvious ra ba kaayo nga Bisaya. Bsan imong istoryahon ug Bisaya, Tagalog gyud ang itubag.

Pathetic kaayo paminawon ug huna huna-on. The funniest thing is that most of these people are not coming from Cebu but from other Bisayan speaking regions. Lahi ra gyud tang taga Cebu kay proud of our origin and language.

Tempest, ga paka uwaw lang ka sa imong pagkabisaya!

Yup. The so called Philippine Republic is about to end (or is it?). Read the today's issue of Sun Star Cebu (July 8, 2005 issue).

Don't worry bro' Cebu can stand alone. Dagko man kayu tag income.

I can compare our nation as an octopus. Manila lang ang naka

benefit sa atong tax. Other regions are just like tentacles.

Luoy lang gagmay na City.
