Exclamation Palpak Manila Government

Do you still believe in the capacity of Manila government or this so-called ultra-centralized government in running this country? Do you still think that Manila can still improve the lives of the people in this country. Is their no other option?

Default Mercy

I just want to ask what is your opinion or suggestion to the worsening Philippine crisis, which for me I blame it to the Manila government. I called it Manila government because the rest of the country was and until now relied upon the mercy of Manila. For example, why is it that jeepney fare rates are not automatically adjusted even the prices of fuel or gasoline are apparently lowered and still need the approval of Manila (Where our local LTFRB officials need to go to Manila for a referendum) ? I think Manila is playing like a God for the rest of the country.

Question Philippines run like hell by Manila!

"I prefer a country run like hell by Filipinos to a country run like heaven by Americans. Because, however bad a Filipino government might be, we can always change it."

What do you think of this quote?

I believe ratilaboto is a separatist circus barker, no different from the MILF, MNLF and Abu Sayyaf, only this time, he apparently wants Cebu to separate from Luzon. iStorya.net is always a great soapbox for outrageous ideas.

Another word to learn. Regionalism.

The "taga-" attitude (i.e. Taga-Bicol, taga-Manila, taga-Cebu, taga-Ozamiz) is another one of the many reasons why this country will never prosper in the near future.

that is why manila is called imperial because most of the funds are send there and used there.

the reason why most "provinces" (as what most manileņos fondly call other areas other than manila) do not get the taste of a full satisfaction of improvement within their own is because most funds are already used up in manila long before the provinces could get a share of their pie. not to mention the red tape and the crocodiles.

mao na mantinil nalang "probinsiya" ug apas sa mga governement personnels nila. di ka generate ug income ang small "probinsiya" kay tua naman sa mga opisyal
