falling economy? so how come vehicle traffic is on the rise? lots of people buying cars?
wa ko kasabut ngano nga failing ato economy but people are buying and selling cars, tan-awa di ba naghuot na ang ato kadalanan. tan-awa ang mga developers ug subdivision/villages...nagkadaghan man hinuon...develop dire develop didto. when I was at 26-30 years old...dili ko kapalit ug motorcycle sa ako sweldo. I hear people saying failing ang economy sa Philippines. Now, ako mga officemates nga 26-30yrs old naa nay house and lot, naa auto(though not brandnew) and have all the gadgets they wanted, kusog pa kaayo mag laag-laag magabii or adto sa mga tourist destinations...unya failing gihapon ato economy? ...then we put the blame on Imperial Manila. |

a very big DISAGREE...
Remember that Manila is composed of so many different people.. In fact there are lots of people from the Visayas and Mindanao there.. ...so if we blame everything to Manila, then it's just like blaming ourselves too.. Or perhaps we blame everything to those in the national positions? Lets us also remember that a number of national leaders are not actually from Manila.. PGMA herself is not from Manila, she's from Pampanga and she's not pure tagalog.. Lots of people holding national positions come from various parts of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.. so might as well have to blame everything to all of us Filipinos.. .. |

The current House Speaker is a bisaya from Davao... and before, the Senate President was from Iloilo... Marcelo Fernan of Cebu even became Senate President ..... but still we keep on saying that a big chunk of our money goes to Manila.. We have Senators that are not from Manila (meaning not Tagalog, not born there).. Serge OsmeƱa is Cebuano.. Miriam Santiago is from Iloilo... these guys have power over the budget.. So can we blame ourselves for the so called Imperial Manila?? |
