GMA is not the problem.. Visayas and Mindanao officials agree. Even the majority of the business community agrees. (BTW, Makati Business Club is a minority -- and 30 of their members spoke out recently in a press conference that only the officials of the club made the decisions).

GMA is not the problem.. The opposition is.. because they're taking advantage on their status as media people. They are using their fame and the media to fool the people to create another People Power. These media people are just pissed off that they are chased by the BIR on tax evasion allegations. But that's how politics is played. At first, they should have known that supporting a candidate has both its advantages and disadvantages.

Let's just play the game the way it has always been played.. or not play at all. Accept the loss and try again next election.

If anything happens Cebu must default on its debt and let manila pay any debt owed by cebu.

Let Cebu start with no debt so we can have a strong currency. No old debt for the new Cebu.
That's a liitle bit too much. Cebu should pay its current debt to Japan -- no worries, Cebu can and will pay the debt. That's why Japan has approved Cebu's loan, because they saw stability and the capacity to pay.

As for Visayas Republic, I believe that GMA should come home to Cebu and sit as President. That would be a good exposure for Cebu and the Visayas since GMA has been identified as Philippines' spokesperson by foreign countries. I don't want to say the Gwen Garcia or any other Visayan governor is incapable, but GMA has been tested and her programs have been approved by the LGUs and the majority of the business community. And besides, I'm hoping for Lito Osmeña to come back and run for president again.. but President of the Visayas Republic now.

You'll definitely feel it.. Either you'll feel the "peace" that Cebu has or the "fists" of the Cebuanos for looking us down.. tempest

if not for the proud legacy of Sarao, we would have a sensible mode of mass transport now.

hahahaha.. your Subic is the biggest symbol of graft and corruption in the entire Philippines... Imagine a "white elephant" international airport that is only a few kilometers away from that in NAIA... Look at also the number of smuggled vehicles shipped in its so-called "international port" that is not even being called by international vessels....And a lot of people are asking why the development of the Davao International Airport was so late when it is a very big city frequented by visitors both local and international... Subic, which was a mere wasteland, was poured in money that was generated from the South.. And now even Dick Gordon (who was once Tourism secretary) is opposed to the DOT being transferred to Cebu because he wants it transferred to Subic.......Now even FEDEX is pulling out of Subic...

Si GMA naman ang nagpa improve sa Clark. Ang pangalan nga dun ay Disodado Macapagal International Airport. You are taking potshots at the GMA initiated projects. Yet you are using the GMA resign movement to create a separate republic.\

Inconsistent pare. So hindi pala oust GMA ang dahilan kundi KASAKIMAN.

the visayan government especially cebu has GMA's back... the republic will only be established if GMA will resign or will be impeached.. meaning they wont honor the president who will replace GMA

You will feel you are not in the Philippines in Cebu because we don't speak your language. Simple as that. Also were not crazy over actors turned politicians. That separates us from the Tagalog.
And please stop posting in Tagalog, its hurting to many Cebuanos' eyes.

Eh pano kayo ma crazy sa actors eh wala naman talaga kayong actors? Â*Sourgraping lang siguro pare. Â*Pero anyway tuloy nyo ang independence. Â*Kung saan kayo maligaya susuportahan taka. Ha ha ha haha. Â*At least another country will replace East Timor as the poorest Â*country in the world. Â*They think their own isalnd could sustain everything. Â*

Your island is not garden of Eden, mind you.

honor a cheating president you say?
cebu loves GMA, so if you're saying that we only honor cheating presidents then GMA cheated in the election
