The Noynoy Ad is so anti-green! So sad that many of our so called artists have joined in polluting our dear struggling world. That Ad shows how insensitive these people are to what is good for the many of us- the usual trait that is so prevalent from that arrogant sector which believe can always get away from anything they do. They don't care about the effects and implications of their anti-life actions. They only care about their desire of exploiting us whom they believe would not raise a voice of concern much less protest in disgust of their arrogance in raping the much abused ecology. They only care of advancing their interests- to pronounce in no uncertain terms that they are here and will be there to command and be followed us, or else. The message of that Ad is clear: "The elite are out to dominate us with all their entertainers willing to do everything by capitalizing on their popularity by promoting and propagating a failed system of more than four centuries of hardships and sufferings that many of us have endured. That we, the ordinary mortals who can't speak and write in language and style of their standard, cannot do but be servile to their whims including making someone whose personality and character are not so par and normal to be the next leader who shall draw the chart of our destiny". The Ad contains nothing but a pollutant in the worst form in every respect, physically and intellectually speaking! -rl

Ok! Actually, the message on that ad is intended only for those who were looking for HOPE and CHANGE! For those people LIKE YOU, who don't like and understand what's the ad all about, OBVIOUSLY, this ad is not for you. GETS MO??

Now the ad is SIMPLE yet symbolic. You see the FLAME there, when Regine was singing? FLAME represents HOPE. HOPE that majority of the Filipino people badly need. HOPE is something which cannot be FULLY SUBSTANTIATED nor RATIONALIZED. And i don't believe it should be. It is well beyond our very limited mental capacity. It is something ABSTRACT, something which no one can fully explain no matter how hard one tries. But it is a compelling force which allows us to ACT not just based on what our minds say. If they say hope is alive in him/her, then IT IS. It's theirs and theirs alone. Maybe some may question that HOPE, but that's the only thing they can do, nothing more.

Another is, you noticed the scene is dark? It represents that PHILIPPPINES is in darkness! If each and every filipino will unite and go hand in hand then we can see a brighter Philippines. No PRESIDENT can solve all the problems in a country without the help of it's people. So, therefore, the future of our country is in our hands. NOYNOY offer us HOPE. In his tv ad, HINDI KA NAG-IISA, those people from all walks of life are supporting and joining the cause for CHANGE.
