Default 2 Suspected SM City bombers killed

LINK

On my way to work just last night, May 11, 2006, I encountered a convoy of ERUF ambulances, police cars and media vehicles(ABS-CBN, GMA). I soon found out on the radio that those were the vehicles involved in the shoot out. I also found out from the radio report that the police waited for at least one hour before calling for emergency rescue units. Hah, not that it's surprising, but still, a blatant violation of human rights. Anyway...

... it looks like we may be headed to another period of paranoia. Good luck kids! Watch out for the malls!

Read the link I posted above.

Yes, this maybe somehow connected to that. For all you know, the text messages originated from the alleged terrorists themselves.

ooohhh, scary.. yeah, looks like another period of paranoia. Avoiding malls and public places, staying at home and work, not going out, etc..

Anyway these suspect bombers, how credible was the police's sources and information?

Looks legitimate because when the alleged terrorists themselves were questioned, they resisted, and the bomb itself was real.

One police team spotted two men that fitted the description given by the witnesses along Juan Luna Avenue. But an exchange of gunfire ensued when the suspects fired at the police when they approached the two to invite them for questioning.

Yeah, apparently it was not the police themselves who had them but concerned citizens. That's not really comforting at all since they bypassed police intelligence. But that's nice to hear people reporting unusual sightings.

cebu is the next target...
the mall is very strict when it comes to security, that's why the bombers were not able to bring the bomb inside the mall...

we must be thankful that the bombs were detonated. what's next ayala this is another reason for people to avoid malls and other public places. we have to be careful. we don't know where they're going to strike next.
