think of the psychological effects of war on children and to soldier themselves ......history had it noted that veterans of the past 4 major wars.....most of them committed suicide and 1 of 4 had become homeless ......

as of now, nahunong na ang gyera, some people from iligan evacuees in Ozamis City and some nibalik na sa ilang pinuy-anan sa Iligan. Sad to say dghan jud civilian ang nangaangol!!!

ILIGAN CITY (MindaNews/17 August) – Bombs exploded almost simultaneously shortly before 6 p.m. today in two small hotels in the middle of the city, injuring four persons. But police have yet to determine the motive, the perpetrators and type of bombs used.

KAUSWAGAN, Lanao del Norte (MindaNews/18 August) -- When the rebels left, 24 civilians lay dead: 21 in Kauswagan and three in nearby Kolambugan.

Hundreds of displaced villagers fled on foot, pumpboats, trucks or motorcycles to seek refuge in Linamon town and Iligan City.

BALIKI, Midsayap, North Cotabato (MindaNews/18 August) – Four American soldiers on board two silver Toyota Hilux Vigo vehicles with “VFA” plates in lieu of plate numbers, joined the search for unexploded bombs here Sunday morning, detonating a recovered unexploded 500-pounder GP (general purpose) bomb.


EVACUATION. The rebels had long gone, but Kauswagan residents continued to evacuate by pumpboat to Iligan City last Monday. Photo taken at 3:50 p.m. in Iligan's Barangay Buruun.

ang mga relatives sa ako mga classmates naa dd2 iligan rOn..scary daw au kay di sila kagawas ila mga hOuses..

then naa na daw curfew..kung mO buy silag fOod maglisud sila kay dapat jud mag dali2...

Naa nadakpan katong ning-aging adlaw. MILF na nagpaka-arung-ingnon civilian. Nakasakay sa Track.. ang bad-news... pagdakop sa iyaha... Christian pa jud!

Ang uban membro sa MI kay imported gikan sa Malaysia ug Brunei.. mao nang di jud sila magduha duha patay ug pinoy.
