Even non-HID lamps can cause accidents on high beam. You only need to keep your headlights in low beam whenever there's oncoming traffic, or in the city, on low beam permanently. It's not so much the intensity of the lamp as the direction of the beam.
I agree let's work on the motorcycles first. Kaduha na jud ko gi bangga ug motor, one overtaking me on the right at an intersection when I was making a right turn unya the other one just ran into the side of my car trying to beat me at an intersection.
Not to mention the many times I have to brake because mo insert lang ang motor sa akong atubangan. What a temptation to step on the gas instead.
I know of one case where the motorcyclist put himself in front of all things, A TRUCK! Maayo gani kay kutob ra'g piang.

On the contrary, many HID lamps already come actually with the cars they are on. An increasing number of car manufacturers have installed HID lamps on their newer models believing they are not only more efficient but actually safer. And that should be the voice of expertise.
It is still too early to predict the fate of the Labella proposal. But while we are on the subject of road safety, perhaps the good councilor can direct his energies against a real road menace that the city council can actually do something about.
We refer to the growing practice of motorcycle drivers to drive against traffic on the opposite lane. Legal action on this one does not require any statistics because the practice is already illegal as it is. What is needed is to compel authorities to act and do their jobs.

What Can You say About this since most of the new model na cars have built in H.I.D Lights. Should he make a ban on H.I.D or just regulate the brightness sa H.I.D or better yet should he focus his priorities elsewhere like the driving practices sa mga motorbikes or jeepney driver that doesn't even turn on their lights. What can you guys say?
