FOUR-DAY work week.

I have a as-few-as-I-want-day work week. I am blessed because I work at home. I control when I work. Only time I go out of the house is when I bring my son to school and back.

There are thousands who do not have the privilege of doing so....
What do you think about a 4-day work week?

THAT WAY....

1. An additional two hours a day will still result in THE SAME AMOUNT in terms of fares.
2. The parents can spend more time with their kids and more time resting at home....therefore have a happier disposition and hopefully result in lesser needs to want to use their "sick-leaves."

it's a good idea and I'm looking forward to a home-based work system soon. So we can have our own time,not monitored.....

There are some people who are paid and earn in a daily basis. Just like some PUJ drivers. This might be against them.

i would like a four-day work week since im always doing more than 2 hrs overtime daily, without pay.
ok ra man sad na sa daily earners kay ma add man 2 hrs ila sweldo.
sa jeepney drivers, ok gihapon kay manglaag man gihapon mga tawo.
and for those who work in another island like me, mas sulit ang akong bayad sa supercat/weesam everytime mouli ko sa weekends.
maayo unta i-implement na ni sa government offices & GOCCs.

In manila some private companys like post-production and avertising agency are implementing and practicing this work strategy so far it really made their workers far more productive and naka save pa sila sa electricity bill,

4-day work week? there are advantages and disadvantages.

Advantages: Makasave ka ug plite, spend more time with your family, relax,
correct me if i'm wrong.. this is only advantage to those who are regular employees?

Disadvantages:
Employees who works and paid as daily wage earner, Some companies they have this policies for irregular employees "No work, no pay"

Weigh things first. There are a lot who can benefit and there are also a lot who are at the losing end, especially those below the margin.

yeah well if this is implemented here or not... it really does not matter... for i work a 4-day week or 5-day or even a 3-day week if i want to.... just thinking of the general population.

the people who work as you say... below the margin are people who are in blue-collar work...usually they do not follow the typical 5-day or even 6-day work-week anyhow.
