RC211V: glad you like it.. for my sky shot.. nangita rako'g flat form where i can place the subject, as much as possible open area para wala maka obstruct sa sky as backdrop.. then position the camera slightly under the subject.. then i just simple rotate the picture..

here's another shot i made at different orientation:
