Istorya.net More Than Just Talk Photo Contest


Mechanics

1. This photo contest is exclusively for members of iStorya.net
2. Each member is allowed a maximum of 5 entries only.
3. Images should contain the words “istorya.net” or its logo or any official derivative thereof and must
adhere to the theme “Istorya.net: more than just talk”.
4. Only global enhancements allowed.
5. All images to be submitted must be in JPG format at 300Dpi
6. Email images to istoryanetphotocontest@gmail.com
7. Moderators and Administrators of iStorya.net are prohibited from joining.
8. No watermarks or any identifying marks to insinuate information about the owner allowed.
9. A Perpetual Non-Exclusive License is given to iStorya.net to use, duplicate, distribute, print and
exhibit winning entries of this contest in any non-profit manner it may deem useful. Copyright of the images
remain with the photographer.
10. Deadline of submission is on the 14th of March, 2009.
11. Announcement of winners will be posted on iStorya.net on the 21st of March 2009
12. The decision of the judges is final.

simply put, photos should have the words "istorya.net" or the logo of istorya.net AND it has to show that istorya.net members are more than just talk. moaksyon sad dili puros yawyaw. hehehe

global enhancements: enhancements that will affect the whole image without adding or taking out any elements from the photograph. examples are sharpening, brightness, contrast, levels, etc.

why are borders not considered a global enhancement? because borders are not part of the original image but are placed on the image during Post Process.
