guys, i tried making DIY CO2 last night, placed 1/2 kilo refined sugar, 1.5 liters water, and 1/4 tsp instant dry yeast. It did not work. I used a 2-litre bottle BTW. I need help please. What's ZEN Aquatics? I remmebr the name from Cagayan de Oro, they have a sponsored a quarium in one of the most famous restaurants in CAgayan.

yeah, CARE is a good name. I might join the org but not the contest yet. Usa pa baya ka klase akong plant. Hopefully, i can set-up a worth waiting for aquarium by the end of the month. Thanks MASTERS for your help.

bro, try dissolving the sugar with the water first and also do the same for the yeast with lukewarm water so that activation will be quicker, with that done fermentation should start in about 30-60mins

Do not use hot water for the yeast, just lukewarm as pmip pointed out.
This also goes for the water you dissolved your sugar in.

Also, make sure your bottle is airtight.

if it still doesnt work, basi expired na imo yeast.

I just bought the yeast in jy last week. eagle brand. haha. how do i test kung ok pa?
I use juice bottle, how do i make it airtight?
