guys, is it beneficial to plant your carpet plants or stem plants into small containers (somewhat like rectangular tupperwares may be 1-1.5" height... and place these containers in the substrate of the tank?
im thinking if this is possible, it would be easier to grow emerse carpet in small containers putting it under direct sunlight and just directly placing them into the substrate... maybe overlap the containers with a thin layer of sand or gravel para dili makita ang containers.....
masters... your advice is highly appreciated=)

@generals, observation lang ni nako... I bought a small condiment sized pot of pearlweed at pipers a few months back. Kay tapulan man ko, ako gi diretso ug bury sa substrate ang pot. It grew for a week then stopped. I decided to plant a few stems sa substrate. The difference is like night and day. Murag bonsai ang naa sa pot and dili kaau green ang color. Pearlweed nuon ni, basi ok ra ang HC ani.

@allister, i hope for your sake that you mineralized your garden soil.
There was a link posted by his eminence markykoi but i cant seem to find it at aquascapingworld.com anymore
heres the same article elsewhere (you might need to register before you can see it) or look around google
How-To: Mineralized Soil Substrate, by Aaron Talbot - Library - Aquatic Plant Central
PS. you can skip the dolomite and muriate of potash.

@pmip, from what i understand, it can easily be induced by adding ammonia/urea.
But in a new tank its caused by unstable bacterial colony, too much light and not enough plants.
Theres also the daphnia solution but theres a very high risk of introducing pathogens
Im still looking at some resources regarding the matter. Will post when i find something interesting.
