hello bro! pwede kaayo! i would suggest to start with a big tank. well, thats if you dont worry about the budget. big tanks means much more stable environment for fishes and plants. but if you want to start with smaller tank..10 gal tank or 8 gal tank will do, 8 gal more or less would be like 40cmX25cmX30cm..correct me if im wrong Alain.

Nano tanks are considered to be less than 10 gals. Starting is kinda difficult but once you are in the groove with proper information, i think sayon nalang para nimu.

Three basics para nako nga importante sa nano tank:

Substrate
Lighting
Filtration

a rock size nga dili mo occupy 1/2 sa tank space, 1/2 of tank weight, and make sure you have enough substrate as weight absorbers sa rocks.

in addition, i think you could put egg crates at the bottom, cover it with your substrate to make sure weight is distributed evenly on the tank floor. sakto ba ko sir swordfishh? mao man gud na kasagaran gi advise pud.
