on regular days you get 1 point (using other browsers other than IE
and 2 points when using IE8

on special double point days (declared by microsoft and announced on windows7ako facebook)
you get 2 points with non IE8 browsers and 4 points with IE8

currently you can get double points this whole holiday extended weekend

you can only get points from each banner once every 24 hour period
the 24 hour period renews every 1pm local time

ey bro. my aunt bought me hp laptop in the US and is eligible for windows 7 upgrade. however she came here before windows 7 launched oct 22. is there another way i can get my windows 7 cd without HP sending it to her US home address and send it to me here in the cebu?

I can ask for the local microsoft office for you... but as far as I know the support goes with where it was purchased. you could ask the local hp partner too.

you have up til 12 midnight to take advantage of the double points!
keep on hunting those banners down!

dunno if it applies on HP but my Asus was bought from the US had free windows 7 uprgade, sad to say i have to send the laptop to US for them to upgrade since it was bought there... ingon sa ako cousin...
