A lot of the bands who are "playing" in this event has also not confirmed yet, including DOC and TLD. Some of the bands listed in the website has already declined to play. If you check out the bands' individual websites (facebook, multiply, myspace, etc...) this is not included in their list of gigs.

a lot of the bands listed have not confirmed yet. even the local bands on their lists have either not confirmed, or have declined already. as i have posted in this thread several days ago, i am wondering how come the bands have to pay to audition for this event. they don't get paid to play, food and drinks are not guaranteed for the bands, and yet the bands have to shell out money to audition?

p.s. they call it "Visayan" Music Festival, but they are clearly highlighting bands not from Visayas.

I understand the controversy that surrounds this event. yes, there was a payment during audition but i guess sulit xa if you were able to play in this big event. bsan sa manila starting bands nga ni sikat na kron nka agi cla sa "pay to play policy" dd2 sa ila. also, bands from manila pay there fare when going to other places (for underground scene) swerte gae sa cbu wala nani kron. but still audience or groupies needs to sell their bands. regarding slapshock! I.D.C if they wil be coming or not, cguro taas kaau ila presyo. also as for urbandub, i guess there was a problem with the T.F, so mas okies xa ky naay FRANK! so, samatang nag ka duol na ang Nov 6 and 7. tan-awon nalang nato unsay mahitabo ani.
and as of kato ni comment about sa "bands highlighted" IM WITH U! Since this is VISAYAN MUSIC FEST.
we should take credit to the VISAYAN BANDS who will be playing. Pwede ninyo dagko-on ang font sa mga guestbands from MANILA, para mka gathered xa daghan tao.

dad04, as of I have heard mo auditon ang ubang banda. If about the payment for the audition....i'm not sure. You better talk to the one in-charge of the event. Si Ms. Chuchie lng ang storya.i As of the line up of the band, wala pa jud na final kung kinsa jud nga band mo play on that said date. you can visit their site for all of the bands.
Attending Artists

Other info. There will be a P200 entrance fee good for 2 days already with 2 free drinks. You can bring your own tent if you want to rock until the break of dawn and the next day. Food and drinks will be sold also at the venue. You're also free to bring your own food. Gate opens 5p.m on Friday(Nov. 6,2009).

i guess balance jud ila pag pick sa mutukar. i doubt if naa pay mu harang ani na event. support nalang tah ani! regarding the ticket down to 150.00php from 200.00. so get the ticket now and experience WOODSTOCK the VISAYAN WAY!
