the 1st CEBU COASTAL ADVENTURE CHALLENGE

A One Day Adventure Race on SEPTEMBER 19, 2009.
This is open to all novice & experienced adventure racers!

• 3 Man team, either all male, all female, or mixed.
• 6- 8 hour race, sequential and non sequential form
• Race course is around Mactan, Cebu, Cordova and Lapulapu
• Urban and Coastal setting
• Cash Prize of Php 15,000 1st place, Php 10,000 2nd place and Php 5000 3rd place plus trophies and medals
• Awarding party with guest bands.
• Php 1500 registration fee for the whole team but early bird registration of Php 1000 if you register starting July 13 to August 13, 2009
• Bragging rights to be the 1st CEBU COASTAL ADVENTURE CHALLENGE CHAMPIONS!

Can you please be more specific? Me and my sibs are kinda interested to join, how are the races being done? Biking, kayak, etc., or what?

@empyrean pls call me at 2335758 so i can personally tell you the details but to answer your question all the 5 basic skills in adventure racing will be here namely running, biking, kayaking rapelling and navigation. the skills per check points will be all coastal awareness and conservation related. so your not just racing per se but you are racing and creating awareness regarding coastal conservation. we are currently creating the website to answer your questions, and there will be a racers briefing a day before the race and skills test weeks before the race. again limited to 50 slots only and its only 1k per team for the reg until aug 13. so register now! slots are beginning to fill up.
