Here’s your chance to express that with iClick Art Contest. Show off your creativity in either Photography or Graphic Design and get a chance to win the newest 32GB iPod Touch or a 500GB Time Capsule! Theme: How Apple products have revolutionized the Cebu Digital Lifestyle
This is an expression of how Apple products have been successfully integrated to today’s society. Entries will need to depict the Apple influence to the Cebu culture. An individual has to see an Apple culture when looking out the viewfinder, and in turn produce a snapshot that portrays just that.

Entries should be dropped at iCenter and entrant’s will need to fill out the Authorization Form at the iCenter. NO SUBMISSION FEES!

Categories:
1. Express iSelf
Strictly photography that contains, but not necessarily on, at least 1 Apple product. Monochrome or colored.
Touch-ups are allowed but the fewer, the better.
(Cropping, color, and saturation only. No superimposing, dropout, etc.)
2. Digital Artwork
Strictly Graphic Design that contains, but not necessarily focus on, at least one Apple product. Go nuts boys and girls.
Any software can be used for this category. (Bitmap or vector allowed.)
3. On-the-Spot Free for All
On November 29, 2008, there will be a free-for-all and on-the-spot photography/graphic design at iCenter, Crossroads. Surprise Prize!

Mechanics:
1. Contest is open to both amateur and professional photographers and graphic artists residing in Cebu City. Deadline is on November 23, 2008, no later than 9PM
2. Entries must be printed on a photo paper and the digital file (JPG preferably) in a CD.
3. Artwork/Photo size should be at least 8 x 11 inches, 300dpi, CMYK.
4. Submitted printouts and CDs should be placed inside a sealed brown envelope. Name and contact details should be placed ON THE ENVELOPE AND NOT ON THE PRINTOUT AND CD.
5. Signatures, watermarks, and distinguishable marks for identity must be removed on the printouts to maintain good faith among the judges. Don’t cheat, bai.
6. For Express iSelf submissions: Indicate digital editing techniques applied on the photo.
7. Artwork/Photo MUST NOT CONTAIN any image of pornography, racism, flaming, or any other thing deemed offensive. Violators will immediately be disqualified with disgust.

ON-THE-SPOT, Free for All Mechanics:
1. Take photos within iCenter.
2. Finalists may bring their models, materials, as necessary.
3. November 29, 2008 from 12NN to 12MNN

Entry Fee: FREE!

Submission guidelines
We reserve the right to deem entries ineligible that do not meet the submission and deadline requirements as follows:
• Interested photographers can submit up to 5 entries, in either monochrome or color.
• Each image should be in JPEG format, at least 300dpi resolution, and saved on a CD.
• Printout is a requirement. The size of each image should be at least 8 inches x 10 inches @ 300 dpi, no more no less.
• It should be accompanied by a short caption containing title, photographer’s name, and technical settings. Do not place this on the printout but on the brown envelope. No writings, watermarks, signatures, or anything on the printed artwork. A brief description is optional.
• Image enhancement using any editing software is allowed.
• Graphic design entries: a layered psd file is optional
• Entries must be submitted on or before November 23, 2008 no later than 9:00 p.m.
For Finals Night:
• All entries must be taken only during the photo shoot scheduled in iCenter as a venue.
• Entries must be submitted on November 29, 2008 no later than 12:00 a.m.
• Entries, submitted or otherwise, may only be used for the purpose stated herein. We shall not be liable for any third party liability.
