iSTORYA.NET Site-Wide Rules - Covers all parts / sections of the site.

1. Moderators are to be treated with utmost respect. If you have any issues with Moderators, course them thru the admins (BeoR / Galadriel) of the site or thru GlassMoon / Seducer privately. Persistent violations will result in a ban.

2. Posts should be composed in such a manner that respects persons of all races, religions, cultures, and sexualities. No post may contain personal attacks, as they have no proper place in discussions. The purpose of this forum is to facilitate growth, not to belittle others. This also applies to Private Messages and the Shoutbox entries.

3. The posting of obscene content is prohibited. No user may refer other users to outside content of an obscene nature. No pornographic content may be inserted in to any post. The use of harsh language(swearing, cussing, and cursing) is prohibited. Violations will most likely result in a ban.

4. When posting or creating new topics, make sure that they are in the correct forum. Off topic posts are not allowed but not strictly prohibited. Should you have an urge to write an Off-topic post, precede it with an "OT:". Senseless and irrelevant posts are discouraged. If you don't have anything to say, don't post anything at all. This refers to "No Comment" or "Wala lang pahipi lang ko" type of posts. only 3 successive OT's are allowed. Smiley posts are discouraged and will be deleted on sight. Max of 3 smiley's with post. Use smileys as scarcely as you possibly can. Each serves a particularly specific purpose, but also can be a tad annoying if used in excess.

5. Make sure that the topic you are about to start with have not been discussed already. Please use the search feature first. Any redundant topics will be locked or deleted on sight.

6. Posting topics that promote or engage in any illegal activity is strictly prohibited. The illegal sharing of copyrighted material is prohibited. Posting links to sites which offers "sharing" of copyrighted materials is prohibited. Violations will most likely result in a ban.

7. No user may advertise any product or service on this message board outside of the "Buy / Sell / Trade / Classifieds" forums. Any posts of this nature outside of the "Buy / Sell / Trade / Classifieds" forums will be deleted on sight. Negotiations to be done thru PM or email. Persistent violations will result in a ban.

8. Do not post SPAM. SPAM includes unsolicited advertisements, flooding of the boards, inappropriate or illegal content, thread hijacking, and cross-posting of topics. Persistent violations will result in a ban. At our discretion, we will delete all posts / topics of persons engaging in the abovementioned scenarios. This also applies to Private Messages and Shoutbox entries.

9. Don't use needless or excessive usage of Line-breaks, ALL-CAPS, nested quotes "quoting of quotes" (max is 3), GIANT fonts, swearing or derogatory terms.

10. Topic Titles and Images within topics should be directly related to the subject being discussed or intended to be discussed. Images sizes should be 500 on the longest side.

11. Promotion of your website (personal or business) is strictly limited to the "Websites & Multimedia" forum. Anything outside that forum will be deleted on sight.

12. Make sure that your avatar does not violate any of the Rules and Regulations of this message board. Persistent violations will result in a ban.

13. Signatures should be limited to a reasonable size, should not contain excessive animations, does not contain advertising, should not have a URL to other sites other than those within the network of iSTORYA.NET, and should not violate any of the Rules and Regulations of this message board. Signatures have been disabled due to abuse.

14. Bumping of topics without any valid or justifiable reason is strictly prohibited.

15. Ensure that your username does not violate Rules #1 & #2

16. Do not argue with the enforcement of these Rules and Regulations. If you are requested to comply, comply. Persistent violations will result in a ban.

17. These rules are subject to change without prior notice.

18. Enjoy your stay here! If you have any problems within the forums or if there are any abusive users, please feel free to PM a moderator.

19. Any obvious attempt to go around the rules will be dealt with accordingly.

I.To all traders

• You are allowed to have only one username. Clones are strictly prohibited and will be subject to ban, if one or two exists.
• Always ask for a real name and home/business address, especially when trading with somebody who is unknown. Presenting of an ID would be very much preferred. If you are unsure of his credibility, you can ask anyone who has had transacted with said trader.
• Be nice and courteous. Nobody likes to be spoken to in a rude manner.
• Handle all transactions with common sense.
• Politely, aware the newbies of the forum rules.
• Please use the forum's search feature.
• You are only allowed to have 3 threads on the first page on any Buy / Sell sub forums.

II.Posting of Threads

• All posts must only be prefixed by the following terms:
  i. FS: (For Sale) - when trying to sell something
  ii. LF: (Looking For) - when you look for something which is not found in the forum.
• If all your transactions are done, send a PM to any of the moderators with the link to your thread and we will be glad to delete your post for you.
• It is a requirement to have your mode of communications posted, either through your mobile phone or landline number, e-mail address, or by whatever means. You can, also, use the forum's private messaging (PM) feature for faster transactions.
• Excessive bumping of threads is strictly prohibited. A maximum of 1 bump every 12 hours is tolerable.
• Thread crapping will not be tolerated. If you are not interested in buying or selling, or you have nothing to say, stay out of the thread. If you think the asking price is too high, or you want to make a lowball offer, contact the seller through his/her contacts.
• Posting of derogatory remarks about the trader or about his/her item will not be tolerated. Instead, post your situation in a calm and friendly manner. Flaming will only raise tempers, hurting your chance of getting your goods or money back. If one persists, send a PM to any of the moderators.
• Please specify the item you are selling or what you are looking for.
• You must post a price for all FS deals and offers for LF deals.
• No auction style posts. This includes links to auctions on other sites, too.
• No I-can-burn-you-these-for-pesos services and others that would pertain to piracy.
• No contest or giveaway threads.
• No misleading thread titles.
• No multi-level marketing schemes.
• No text-speak thread titles and posts.
• No all-upper-case thread titles and other unnecessary characters.
• You are only allowed to have 3 threads on the first page on any Buy / Sell sub forums.

III.Items

• Absolutely, no pornographic items.
• No bootleg software (Warez) distribution. Anyone who knowingly buys, sells, trades, or distributes bootlegged software through this forum will be permanently banned at our discretion.
• No sales of academic or Not-For-Resale/Not-For-Retail software. OEM software sales must include an appropriate piece of hardware to keep the sale legit.
• No individual Microsoft CD or 'Certificate of Authenticity' (COA) sales. You must sell the software as it was originally packaged.
• No sales of 'CD keys' without the original CD.
• No coupon(s) sales.
• Sale and Trade of firearms and explosives, both replicas and real, are strictly prohibited.
• Sale and Trade of items or services that are classified as illegal under Philippine and International Laws are strictly prohibited.
