Scheduled Downtime: June 19, 2006 - 12:00AM

The will be a scheduled downtime this coming June 19,2006 @ Midnight for the following:

- Buy / Sell / Trade / Classifieds child-boards will again be visible to the public.
- Users with a "Newbie" rank will no longer be able to post a topic under Buy / Sell / Trade / Classifieds.
- Newbie - Junior member will be adjusted to 30 posts from the current 50.
- New membership schemes to be introduced.
- Mainpage will have a new-look.
- and some minor changes / maintenance work.

Downtime will last between 2-5 hours.

- I might add "Cellphones & Accessories" and "Computers & Accessories" under Buy / Sell
- I might also rename "Consumer Electronics" to "Electronic Appliances"

murag maclassify/mahapsay na nig maayo ang Consumer Electronics sa suggestion ni dexterdal dah. murag mao ni saktong diskarte siguro. kay so far sa akong na obserbahan, computers ug cellphones (including accessories) ang bulk sa Consumer Electronics nga board. the rest kay mo fall na under sa electronic appliances unya ang dili ma belong sa tulo kay deritso na sa other electronic devices. e classify siguro nato ug suway ang mga posts under Consumer Electronics kung naa pa bay kinahanglanon nga lain gawas sa upat nga gi suggest, pero sa akong tan aw, OK na kaayo nang upat.

re reduction from 50 posts to 30 (nubs to junior): either way a nub can just get his 30-50 posts in one setting in the Gen Chit-Chat forums, is there any way to get around this loophole? like posts should be sensible and not just those one-liners? or this issue is tackled in the "new membership schemes"? just asking..

BTW the new-look on the mainpage: is that the one you used the other day wherein the background was somewhat like "fatigue green" in color? with gold stars or something? it looked good. very easy on the eyes.

how about requiring the Buyers&Sellers to have a FRIENDSTER account and be connected to the ISTORYA FRIENDSTER page http://www.friendster.com/9422095 prior to the B&S registration approval. This is just for easy identification of the dealer/buyer and also to prevent shady trading in the long run
