I voted for - Yes, it's slightly slower.

And also Sir Beor (dunno if you still remember me and my wifey), Is it just me or is everyone else having special characters in their names can't upload/edit his/her avatar? Makes me dump ƒreez3 and replace it with freez3.

To those who answered they are experiencing slower overall loading speeds, what is your ISP and connection type? I'm trying to figure out why it's slower for fewer people.

Also, let's not compare it with the "old" system. I'm asking whether or not you have seen an improvement since yesterday.

hi, beor!
loading pages is moderately fast... but posting replies is much faster compared to the beginning of the migration to vbulletin and even when compared to the "old" forum
keep up the good work!

it definitely got better. the first time i visited the site, it went a couple of notches down my to-visit list.
now, it's back on top.

Search should be working better now.

Thanks for all the feedback. Made some more tweaks to the backend. Hopefully, that'll be the last for a while so I can focus on bringing back the shoutbox and some other nice features.

Talking

I've accessed this site from different locations, different ISP's in different times of the day where I'm at and the difference is noticeably faster this past 2 days (June 3-4 here).

everybody:

please focus on the topic so the admins can fix or tweak this issue regarding "performance". every other issues that you may have other than what is asked for will not help fix the problem at hand. there is another thread for that.

for now, let's focus on the performance of the "new server" TODAY compared from 3 days ago.

thanks.

its a lot faster, yes. very much gyud.

but i just have this problem. am not quite sure though if it has something to do with istorya or my laptop. you see, when i log in, dili ko ka-log in. i type my username, password and enter and it just takes me back to the log in screen. really weird. BUT, i discovered just now, that when i put a check sa "remember me" when i log in, naka log in ko. waaaaaa so levog!
