dual lan or dual wan? fiber connectivity? may God bless our pockets. id rather choose a managed switch w/ gig uplink than that and do trunking if cascading is applied. anyway, these(router dual lan ----- game optimizer ----- m.switch with fiber connection) only wont still give the solution. there are factors beyond. |

yup lots of factors involved and very expnsive. lets see wait for istoryanimo to explain why he suggested that[br]Posted on: March 18, 2008, 10:47:02 AM_________________________________________________o k one of the causes having a network trAFFIC or decrease of speed in the network is using two small switches compared to a single big switch |

if the network is properly design or configure its still good! but for me its better 2 use 1 big switch compared to a 2 small switch. Remember that your connecting to another port (uplink) with another switch. since 2 ports are connected it will cause a bottleneck between 2 switches minimizing the speed of your network. Comparing to a single switch since it doesnt have to pass through a cable or to a port that really maximize the switch itself thats just my idea how to minimize traffic
