. Hey! I did try searching just can't find it wit the keywords I used. Anywho, if ever the topic already existed then kindly delete this topic, Admins and sorry. If not, then let me continue hehehe... Uhhmm.. I was just wondering what software to use to connect my Phone to my PC via Bluetooth using DHCP protocol I've used IVT version 1.2 I think and it doesn't seem to work when I used it's Lan Feature to connect to the phone due to the fact that the software does not support DHCP protocol. Still, I tried to search for other ways and found out how to make a bridge connection that would join the connection of my Modem>>LAN>>PC; PC>>Bluetooth>>Phone, but sadly that does not work also, what it does is that the PC will recognize the connection the phone, however, freezes with the screen saying "Connecting...". Basically, what I want to do is to make my PC connection as host for my cellphone to connect to the internet, preferably I would just like to use DHCP since it's much easier hehe.....

the main actors of this thread of yours are your SE phone and bluetooth so it is suited there in Gizmos and Gadget section, not here. unfortunately, i dont have SE phone here due to Nokia is i have. anyway, i believe K800 is very similar to K800i. you may check this link below for the procedures: http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtopic=13126 i advice you to better transfer or make a thread of this there in Gizmos & Gadgets for there are many phone hobbist lurking around in that section, they might help you far better. |

On the link that you gave me hehe... that's the one that I tried before that froze my phone. Well, it's not really freezing it's just keeps on saying "Connecting...." even after i left it for a few hours. Your link teaches us to make a connection using the PAN service of that said software, but what I'm trying to find out is how to make a connection using the LAN service of that same software, I believe that there's an update of the software somewhere that will allow us to make a connection using DHCP, it's just that I'm too lazy to search for it so I was just kind of wondering if someone in here had experience on this type of connections. Thank you again for the reply, very very much appreciated.
