They are having a price war with Globe but the service is being sacrificed. that is why they always put in print the word "up to" on the speed/bandwidth. usual speed on the average is only 50 to 80 kbps lang on peak hours. but mostly its just 40

Any ideas why I would always get to a login page before I can connected to the internet. This is always happen every time after I turned on/reboot my PC.

this always happen when i changed pc/laptop in my smartbro, before i installed a router. Smartbro uses MAC association for added security or the lack of it... everytime the BTS detects a different MAC address associtated to the account, you will be redirected to the portal and you will be asked to login. Also, sometimes this happens when there is major activity on the serving site that erased the data on MAC-user name association, but this is rare. If you haven't done that, then there is something wrong...

ngano hinay man kaayo ako download sa smart bro when using bit torrent clients? im getting like 5 kbps only...
im using uTorrent.
