Or if you have a spare router, try activating that spare router and do observations. I'm not very familiar with the security imposed by SMARTbro on the air-interface/network but take note: In my YM account, when I'm logged on at YM and then I log on at another PC with still the previous log on active...ma disconnect ang previous active log-on. I think this type of security is implemented in SMARTbro. And this type of security was implemented in the previous analog cellular network against cloned phones. If your MAC was copied/spoofed and your account was hacked, you will only be disconnected anytime you or your copies log on the network. This could be the cause of continous or random disconnection. If your MAC was not copied/spoofed and your account was hacked, you will be logged out and when you reconnect, username and password will be asked by the portal. Another variation of this type is if someone else is using your account you cannot log-on anymore. You have to wait for it to log out before you can log in. hmmm...it could be your router or your account. Opinion ra nako ni bro ha. |

so far so good ang akoang SmarBro karon. Since December, never have any problem with my connection. It's only then when I installed a Dlink DI-604 router had i encountered a problem. Ma-disconnect ko sometimes and when i restart/reboot the router, mabalik ako connection.I configured it such that it will autoreconnect when it gets disconnected. I browsed the net about and i found some threads that attributes this problem to the router itself. Naay uban router nga ingon ani ang problema labi na ug dugay na nga nag-on. It can be solved with a firmware update but when I checked my current HW & SW version, it is not found on the website. I am still asking for support from Dlink support group about it.

Anybody can be internet pirates. If you stumble on the internet an application that claims to 'sniff' data, will you not get curious on it? And what if your security is not that strong...i.e,who knows imo ra na nga kauban ang nang-sniff sa imo data? pareha ug bangko ba nga unayon ug tulis sa iyang security personnel hehehe I tried 'sniffing' today... just a simple ping on my neighbors ip add. SMARTbro must have implemented some added security because my ping results yielded negative neighbors. Where before I can ping at least 15 ip add, now I get nothing. hmmm...this is new!!! OT: Last night I went to my cousin who just recently got his globeBB...whoa!!! DL of a 5mb file takes 1hour and 30minutes!!! I asked why globeBB? The reply: Our application was last nov2005, it was installed a week ago. They said due to Taiwan quake the connection is slow. It will normalize this Frebruary daw! Wala sila nag SMARTbro kay hinay lagi daw. They bit the promise of globeBB that it will normalize feb07...and they already paid 900something for a very very slow connection. Unya unsa-on man na beh...'nga bahalag hinay basta globeBB!!' kay sosyal daw basta Globe. Toink! Question: Dili diay ma-'hack' ang globeBB account? |
