i have a friend using smart bro connection..if he reformat his pc..does he need to configure any settings for smart bro to restore his internet connection again?

no need bro borgelancer, "Obtain an IP address automatically" lang ang settings ana sa LAN card... as long as di siya mag-ilis ug new LAN card.

gud pm to ol! pls help me. i'm having problems with my smart bro connection. ganito kc yon..ngpa connect ako ng smart bro nung saturday lng. tapos ok pa yung pg gamit ko ng connection nla from sat to wed 6pm. not until pgka 7pm ng wed, ayaw ma open yung mozilla at internet explorer ko. pero gumagana nmn yung limewire ko kc nkaka pgdownload pa ako ng mga songs. tapos pinakita ng bf ko yung pc ko sa friend nya using his globe broadband. eh ok nmn ah...na open nya yung mozilla at internet explorer gamit ang globe. tapos nung ikinabit ko na nmn ang pc ko sa smartbro ko sa bahay, ayaw na nmn. ang nkalagay lng sa mozilla browser is ERROR LANDER tapos sa IE ay WEBSITE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED.

pls help...cnong nka encounter ng ganitong prob? thanks po!

@ chinchan :have you downloaded the quickfix diagnostic tool from smartbro website?, if you have installed it, try to run that tool, it will perform self diagnostic test, if there are problems it will register there using codes and the description of the problem and also the solution....

@kok3n....pwede ma network ang smartbro just use router, ayaw nang hub or switch although maka connect japon pero di pwede magdungan ang mga PC, with router ok ra...just remember kato gi supply na username and password when it was installed for the firstime, ky u nidd it to log into the smartbro portal..after logging in to the portal wa na blema....internet naka 2 or more PC will do

ok man ang SmartBro if you don't mind being under a proxy, gamit nako is Globe Broadband and SmartBro simultaneously using two LAN cards...
