Default Internet sharing problem

i have 2 pc's connected to a 4port modem router, there are times that the other PC cant connect to the internet but the other PC can...
What is the recommended settings for the router, Do i need to enable the DHCP on the router? DO i also need to assigned an IP address manually to each PC or i'll just set it to automatic under TCP/IP settings?

normal ra ba ni sa nag-gamit ug modem router nga usahay dili ka connect ang usa? kapoy kaayo cge OFF/ON sa router...

help pls

probably pareha sila ug ip add... i.static ip add lang bro...

ex: 192.168.1.1 <---- router
192.168.1.2 <---- PC1
192.168.1.3 <---- PC2

if you put the dns sa imong DSL sa router na----then the DNS sa imong PC is the router's add. =)
