Default Globe and SMART 3G Wireless Internet (using 3G Phone as modem)

Anyone has tried or had been using a 3G phone as modem to connect to Globe and SMART 3G Wireless internet? Smart is having a promo for 20/hr(mura internet cafe ), dont know with globe(murag mahal ilaha). This is nice if naa ka sa remote areas where no internet connection is available. Nindot pud kung naa kay laptop, di naka mangita ug hotspot sa wi-fi.

Setup works like this for a Nokia 3G phone:

Install PC Suite for nokia, drivers for your usb phone connector, and set your phone as a modem.

Globe is expensive gyud... smart has their promo at 20/hr PREPAID. This is good enough in places na no dsl or broadband is available.

Sakto, and its good kung naa ka sa province where no internet connection or i-cafes. Ang nakanindot pa gyud kay prepaid, u dont have a contract from smart.

3g is mobile internet

if you are not mobile.... get a landline and choose dial-up or dsl
