Some people are having problems with diconnections, but most have issues with the slow speed.
Only in the morning and in the late evening, the bandwidth is normal (most of the times).
It drops dramatically in the afternoon.
This just means, PLDT is totally oversubscribed, and they STILL accept new applications without improving their network.
This is usually the style of Globe, but PLDT seems now also just after the money of the subscriber, without taking care of the network or even the complains...

2 years ago, I would recommended PLDT, but now, I would recommend NOT to signup with PLDT (or Globe).

Its not a problem if you have a loss of 20% with a low bandwidth package, like 1mbps, so you still get 800kbps, which seems normal for you, but if you have a 10mbit package, and you lost 20%, thats already 2mbit... and with that, you see and feel the difference...

Hmm, I've been scavenging info here for the last few days...

I'm a smartBroken user, before ok lang, satisfactory kay wala dc daun consistent ang speed.
Pero after using my bro's comp (PLDTdsl) grabe ka paspas, i'm starting to feel my inadequate speed.

Taga guadalupe ko daun plano ko balhin PLDT, would you guys recommend it?
Having second thoughts after the posts I've read...

DCs, questionable services, and 20% slow down?

My poor connection )=

nope i wouldn't recommend bro. try other premium quality ISP na nindot and also dli congested ang ilang mga subscribers. But then again, it's up to you and the availability of the area where you reside in. try asking neighbors if they are subscribed or what that'll at least leave you an idea on the pros and cons and what ISP choose.
