To test your connection, do not ping hosts outside the PLDT network. This does not tell you anything about how your connection is.
If you ping for example yahoo.com, it goes over many hops, and if one hop has issues, you get timeouts, which does not mean that it is a fault of PLDT in that case.
Ping or do a tracert to pldtplay.com and to speedtest.com.sg (OKLA, direct line to PLDT).
This tells you more about your connection.

better?.. ping .5s ahihihi d na better kung OL game ka.. bandwidth rai gadako ana.. pero nai delay >_<

hmm... naa cguro trouble imo area.. kung dka kaantos better switch to other ISP xD

Guba jd ang PLDT rn. Ani inyo connection?? 2 days na in ani ako. Plan 1995 @ 2mbps



Pero my 400+kbps upload less then 300kbps nlng

but satisfied na bya ko sa gpaspason sa among net para sa online games, chat ug browsing lang nako.

@Motownkid: ok kau na 384kps ui. awa imo ping o. mas arang2x pa kaisa amo. hahah xD
importante sa OL games kai less ka ug ping as possible. kai wa jud gamit ang bandwidth if dako au ping... sa OL game. >_<

Bogo mani PLDT techies. Gi change man kalit akong profile. Instead 768kbps ako upload limit na himo nman lang 384kbps. Gi usab jd ako profile sa modem. Ako download na 2mbps gi himo 3mbps pero ako sad upload na 768 gi himo nlng 384kbps. Wai gamit taas au akong download speed kay hinay ra au akong upload. Nig online games nko lag kau. Plus ni reclamo ko ila 172. Naa pa jd ning tech support nila na bogo kau. Wa gani sila kbaw na naa dai profile settings each modem. hahays!!

the profiles are nothing, IMHO

there are subscriptions 4mbps plan sa ila then 3mbps down/768kbps up sa modem/router profiles...

How would that be? ironic man.
