progress.. I just talked to a PLDT tech and one of the PLDt heads for DSL in Cebu..
confirmed again there is a slow down on internet bandwidth here in Cebu city NGN/IPDSLAM
is affected as was said they have been aware of the problem since 10am and is restoring and working on the restoration of the slowdown.. It is said Normal bandwidth in cebu will be at normal midnight tonight or alittle later next day say around 5am or 6am they are working hard to ge the connection earlier than 5am...

and progress report on the fiber break as said i duno if it true.. Both fiber pathways are up and going now...

Anybody did a ping or traceroute to pldtplay?
I am getting 30% packet lost, and tracert shows a lot of timeouts after the gateway.
That means for me, the issues have not been fixed as of now...

hmm im running ping to the DNS server they have i get RTOs every around 4-6 replies thus giving slow downs... tracert is the same..

@softtouch_ph better to ping the DNS server it self... if u want i can give you guys the DNS address of PLDT..

but again they know that they are having slow downs on their network. and as the person ive talked to from Cebu PLDT DSL department said they are adressing it as we talk here.. they have starting since morning and they told me that it will be fixed ASAP
