@softtouch_ph: Bro since your the PLDT guru here, how can i complain to the PLDT tech support about my upload limit in my modem. They only set it to 640kbps in my upload speed in my modem. Ive tried to complain it to them but they insist that it is normal for my plan. Plan 1995 @ 2mpbs should have a 2000kbps download and a 768 upload reflected on my modem right?
Who's name shall i mention to them so that they will believe me? Coz of what ive remembered ADSL 2mbps plan and above should have an upload speed limit of 768kbps. I think even their networking techies dont have an idea about their dsl packages. they just put numbers in your profiles in random and wait till you complain for it.

nah ambot 640kbps ra sad akong upload connect, sus basta kadlawon mo paspas lang kalit, gi 75% nalang tingali ang bandwidth para Manila

although sometimes it goes as high as 4Mbps (my plan is less than 1mbps i believe) ... i just dont know why i cant achieve 1mbps even on off peak hours

Make screen shots of you modem config page, describe what your subscription is and write them that you expect they correct your profile so it match your subscription plan.
Send this to the email address erdaral@pldt.com.ph (Essa). She will sure forward this. Do not mention any name, because we are all not directly involved with PLDT, we are all just victims like you.

WOW ka nindot jd sa akong 2mbps na plan!!! worth it jd kau sa tanan!!! in ani akong speed from 10am-11pm. Sauna kay from 5pm-11pm karn ni asenso na, ila na gi sugdan ug sau ang guba.
wai mka lupig sa ka taas sa ako latency hehehe ikatawa nlng ni na2 kay wa man tai mabuhat.

naay problem sa pldt run? yesterday intermitent kaayo among connection. we have to use globe gain a good connection. hahay...

I too get now 1500ms (usually 127ms) to speedtest and no bandwidth at all...

here at talamban its all good, 3 weeks no problem with connection. downloading is awesome =X

You are on legacy network, not on the IP network like most of us...

ako tawn landline.wala na diay tone....mawala manaa mawala manaa....they blame our home wiring....tawag dayon ko oi....reklamo gyud ko nga ang home wiring prob namo kay naka cause ug static tone...not no dial tone....but still in a nice voice.....kung di pa ni maayo....tawag ko tagaad-law ba....hangtud surrender sila...bantay lagi...

im on a legacy network i believe that's why mine is very stable although i never get those lightning bandwidth speeds.
How do i know if im NGN or Legacy by the way? i dont need to dial (or login with username or password) to connect, i onlly entered the username and password once in the modem...

There are 2 methods to connect to the network, one is PPPOE, where you enter your username/password in the modem, router or creating a dialer on the PC.
The other is DCP. With DCP, you don't need a username and password anymore.

Legacy uses PPPOE (where you have to enter a username and password anywhere, be it the modem, or a router, or even a windows dialer).
IP network can handle both methods and today, most subscriber (IP network only, because legacy will soon have no more support) are connected via DCP.
