These 2 hops which times out are the 2 Cebu-Manila links. Everything from VisMin get routed via this crap... haha... if only the legacy would go above 2mbit, but the max is 2mbit... damn and damn again. Time to transfer to the US or Europe. Their knowledge here and equipment is antique... from the middle ages. No, I am wrong, before the middle ages. The smoke signal in the middle ages could transfer information faster then PLDT with their damn network.

lucky on you, you have another choice, but me, i dont have =( im stucked here in the country for im a Filipino.

seriously, i would just wait for them to cope up things. besides, one of the reasons is, they are also crippled with the lousy new equipments they have now. their capabilities are good but their equipments & bandwidth availability aren't. i know they are doing their best (excluding Manila whom you called morons,hahaha!^^ which seems ignoring VisMin network/team). i just hope their high officers/international supports/colleague will tackle the problem asap also, it would fasten the improvements.

Yeah. I heard you will transfer to legacy? I was too thinking about that, 2 x 2MB is ok, or SDSL Legacy 2x2MB.

It depends on the nature and availability, hehe. As we all know, their legacy also is full & congested, all their network is congested. They even have plans to shutdown already their legacy and focus on their ADSL2+ network. Making their legacy equipments as back up but they cant do it at the moment due to the problems encountered.


SDSL? Thats nice. That would help your needs due to you need a faster upload that would be equal to the download for your salient workarounds there =)

Correct. I need a higher upstream then a downstream.
But sdsl means again corporate account... what is just a waste of money... will check it tomorrow.

Akong upload hapit na ma ZERO and akong latency pirting taasa. Yaw mo kailad sa download speed kay useless na ka ubos sa akong upload. hinay kau akong net browsing tungod ana.

Mao sad ako taas au latency, nka sturya nsad mi sa taga technical support. mao japon deny japon na wa daw guba ila network then ok daw ako connection pag check nila.

Gi ayo na nila akong connection. Bright ayo ang nag ayo sa ila networking, ni reclamo ko na 70kbps ra akong upload. ingon sila ila na daw gi adjust. karn 30kbps nlng akong upload. hahayz pag ka bright. nya instead na 1000kbps ako limit sa ako modem gi himo nlng 600kbps. gi usab tanan. ila gi samutan ako connection.
