i am wondering if pit-os is too far from the network centers for real broadband... if anyone is using globe broadband in pit-os, please share d experience... thanks!!!

You need a DSL filter for each telephone you have. Example if you have 2 extension, then you need Two (2) DSL filters.
If you connect it properly (1 for each telephone extension) then there is no reason na ma D/C imu broadband whenever somebody uses the phone.

mao diay, akong setup ingon-ani man, tel line outlet -> surge protector connected sa ground -> DSL filter -> padulong sa 2 ka connection: telephone and modem/router. akong gi-usab. tel line outlet -> DSL filter -> 2 connections: tel and modem/router, ok na, dili maputol ang internet bisan naay kaistorya sa tel. karon, lig-on kaha ni nga setup bisan naay lightning? mas ganahan man gud ko naa to ang surge protector kay proper ground gyod.

wala mo work ni sa akoa bai. mao nga akong connection gi ingon-ani nalang nako. tel outlet>dsl filter and surgeprotector. then gikan sa dsl filter> modem/router. while kadto sa surgeprotector>2 tel units.
