This has been done before, but what the hey, let's start a new one!

Head over to Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test and rate your speed. When your test finishes, copy the "Forum Link" and paste it here.

No corporate connections please ... just what you get at home.

@softtouch, how much do you pay for your connection? I think those are the highest I've seen for residential from PLDT.

I cannot tell what I pay but its a lot...
The bandwidth is actually much higher, but I loose a couple of mbps from here to the exchange...

@softtouch, your latency might increase, but throughput shouldn't change unless it is caused by bad network conditions which is probably why you are getting such low speeds. How many hops does it take you to get to your destinations?
