You CAN use 2 lan cards with 2 dsl connections and establish something similar to load balancing.
Before I got my dual wan router, I used it too, one for globe, one for pldt.
No need to switch them on / off.
Just google for it.

how about 1 DSL, and 1 dial up? nya internal modem ra. Kay murag layo pa sa budget ang 2 DSL lines for me heheh
nya kung 12midnyt until 5am, free man ang mga dial ups

if ur router is dual wan, you can configure load balance on it. duha ka dsl lines in one router. connect to both lines simulanously.kong usa down, naa gihapon ka connection.

naay router pwede ma config para ma load balance, pero di na pariha sa load balancer nga appliance, mas nindot gyud ang load balancer, mahal lang hehe
