Pickups upgraded to AriaProII humbuckers (passive) - warm & clear on the clean channel, nice & heavy on overdrive/distortion with good sustain. Good acoustic sound on clean channel, as well. This guitar is good for most types of music, except heavy metal (of course). Sounds good, looks great!

Got one in red, bought mine at JB SM MegaMall, still with stock pickups. Use it when performing Beatles covers........the Aria Pro II upgrade must have made it sound acoustically better. Highly recommend this guitar for those who play rock and roll lead solos or for rhythm guitarists, and for bands interested in '60's-70's music. Great retro feel and look.

I wish Fernando will make Rickenbacker, Hofner and Gretsch copies too.
