I havent seen the anime, but I've read the manga up to volume 4 (I think... I read all thats available at TW at that time). Very good manga (I expect the anime is as good ... or better.)

Bleach feels similar somehow. There are a lot of series on shinigami-s & spirits. Let's see... reminds me a bit of The Shaman King.

^^ Right now, I am not very interested in the fighting. I'm more interested in the characters themselves. Ichigo's dad is hilarious. Currently, for me, this series is one of those stories wherein I'm more interested if this and that character ma-dayon in the end.

Let's see... (for me) the manga really gets interesting starting vol. 6. ^^ My favorite character is the shinigami (forgot her name). She's funny.
