Try the following: RK Launcher OR Rocket Dock

For Linux and BSD systems try Audacity. It's a good. basic multi-track recorder and editor. It can also import MP3 files. There's also a Windows version. It's FREE!!!

Totally free software for those nga hilig sa Astronomy stuff (astroNOMY ha, dili astroLOGY) and Space Flight simulations.

a) Stellarium - Stellarium is a free open source planetarium for your computer. It shows a realistic sky in 3D, just like what you see with the naked eye, binoculars or a telescope. It is being used in planetarium projectors. Just set your coordinates and go. http://www.stellarium.org/ Been using this since version 0.71, excellent sky simulator

b) Celestia - The free space simulation that lets you explore our universe in three dimensions. Celestia runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X. Unlike most planetarium software, Celestia doesn't confine you to the surface of the Earth. You can travel throughout the solar system, to any of over 100,000 stars, or even beyond the galaxy.
All movement in Celestia is seamless; the exponential zoom feature lets you explore space across a huge range of scales, from galaxy clusters down to spacecraft only a few meters across. A 'point-and-goto' interface makes it simple to navigate through the universe to the object you want to visit. Celestia is expandable. Celestia comes with a large catalog of stars, galaxies, planets, moons, asteroids, comets, and spacecraft. If that's not enough, you can download dozens of easy to install add-ons with more objects. http://www.shatters.net/celestia/ Been a user for over 2 years now, excellent way to show your kids around the Solar System and beyond.

c) Orbiter a free flight simulator that goes beyond the confines of Earth's atmosphere. Launch the Space Shuttle from Kennedy Space Center to deploy a satellite, rendezvous with the International Space Station or take the futuristic Delta-glider for a tour through the solar system - the choice is yours. But make no mistake - ORBITER is not a space shooter. The emphasis is firmly on realism, and the learning curve can be steep. Be prepared to invest some time and effort to brush up on your orbital mechanics background. Good starting points are JPL's Basics of Space Flight, and R. Braeunig's Rocket & Space Technology. http://orbit.medphys.ucl.ac.uk/orbit.html I've been a user for over 5 years, member of addon development groups.

d) Orbitron - a satellite tracking system for radio amateur and observing purposes. It's also used by weather professionals, satellite communication users, astronomers, UFO hobbyists and even astrologers. Application shows the positions of satellites at any given moment (in real or simulated time). It's FREE (Cardware) and it's probably one of the easiest and most powerful satellite trackers, according to opinions of thousands of users from all over the world. I'm still working on it, waiting for your opinions and bug reports. Please try it. If you like it - tell your friends about it and send me a postcard...

FEATURES:

* NORAD SGP4/SDP4 prediction models
* 20 000 satellites can be loaded from TLE file(s) (auto: PC/Unix, 2/3 line)
* ALL of them can be tracked at the same time
* Sun and Moon tracking
* Full-screen, presentation modes
* Supported screen resolutions from 640x480
* Real-time mode / Simulation mode (free time control)
* Advanced passes & Iridium flares search engine (results printing)
* Miscellaneous options of visualisation
* Nightlife (dark color-scheme for night usage)
* Orbit info
* Notes for each object
* Radar
* Easy, flexible interface
* Database of cities around the world
* Database of satellite frequencies
* PC clock synchronization via NTP
* Internet TLE updater (with ZIP support) via HTTP
* Rotor/radio control (built-in or user's driver support)
* Windows screen-saver included
* Translations supported
* and many, many, more...

http://www.stoff.pl/ been a user for about a year...very useful if you want to see the ISS crossing the skies of Cebu City

More soon...

SecureZIP, the latest product from PKWARE, creators of the .ZIP archive format, is free, supposedly for a limited time. Get it at:

http://www.securezip.com/

Paint.NET will now run natively on 64 bit systems with all the advantages that brings including faster application of special effects such as sketch, bulge, etc. Now beats Corel PaintShop Pro.

TuneUp Utils 2008
http://www.tune-up.com/products/tuneup-utilities/

I personally use this along with CCleaner http://www.ccleaner.com/

A good program for system maintenance, dont use the defrag with TU2008, perfect disk 8.0 is far better.
