Its made of fiberglass man, di bah?
You can have it fabricated Sir. Naa daghan makabuhat ana.
Be sure to mention lang jud sa fabricator nga you want a "UV stabilized"(as stated in the source website) box/container. Aron ila pakusgan ang mixture.
More or less, UV Stabilized Fiberglass i think is the same type used in life rafts and some small boats.
You can customized jud the size and shape that you want.

You are in Tabogon man, di bah.
You should have passed by a lot of fiberglass casters/fabricators along the national hi-way.
Mura daghan ko nakit-an along Dawis Sur, Carmen and in Magui, Compostela.
Try to inquire from there.

I hope this helps.
Good Luck!

Please post some more ideas.

Sir Jeff^

Karon ra nako napansin, the actual Aquaponics that you are planning is actually just like the Drip System that Sir Soggy made at page 2, minus the nutes lang. Am i correct?

Kay ingon ani man ang setup >>

Just a comment Sir, i believe the fishes that you would want to grow in the lower tub will not grow as fast even if its hybrid. Kay gamay ra man ang ila space. So, ang "fish" are just to eliminate the nutes. Sakto bah? Dili ba na mas medyo troublesome compared to direct hydroponics?

He-he-he! Just thinking aloud Sir ha.
I want to learn man god... i hope you guys don't mind me asking a lot of questions.

by eliminating the nutes what do you mean by that sir? i think ang mga tae and urine sa isda maka add pod sa nutes but maybe it will make you nute mixture unstable.

Yes Sir Ken, mao na ako sabot.
You dont want to add nutes on the fish pond, are you?
...and unstable natural nutes from the fish is also an issue jud(i guess).
But i think that is the main purpose of the fish in aquaponics, and not really the fish harvest (in addition to the veggies). Kay mura'g dili man dali motubo ang mga fish ana bisag hybrid pa na.

@sir jackdi

ahihihi!
Sir Jeff, i was about to suggest the same containers.
If you really like that, mapalit na nimo sa mga junkshops at prices from P200 to P500 each, kanang mga barela (220L man siguro capacity ana).

But i was thinking nga naa na kay ingon ana nga setup, then you wanted to upgrade na to a more commercialized setup.

Sir, if BFAD said nga there should be 3 tilapia per cubic meter, then 1 tilapia would need 333L of water space. Using that barel nga 200L, kulang man.... nya tungaon pa jud .... ...am i correct? Mura'g dili jud na nimo magamit Sir.

...hhmmm....Bottom line would end up using the fish as nutes provider rather than for fish harvest later.

woo. aquaponics. Wala ko naka research ani na subject. wala gi mention na dapat mag add pa ug ferts? I dont see where the plants will be getting the trace elements like Fe,Cu,Mo etc.

I want to try to help you with your "nutes" supply problem. Even the verms and leca balls tingali and other supplies if you want. Even seeds.... Even complete setups.. pero kamo ra ang mo-setup ha, dili ako...

Pwede ninyo list down kung unsa ngainyo requirements diri?
Like unsa nga nutes? Premixed solution? Potting media? or anything nga inyo kinahanglan.
Please specify pod ang quantity nga inyo possible nga order'on og.

-----Nutes/Items ----- Qty ----- Unit of Measure ----- Expected Price per Unit -----

I have not called any suppliers yet. But i have my eye on LUSHgro products.
Are you guys using these?

Here is an example of what i have in mind:
....Vermiculite nga 1L is P80; if 10L is P630 nalang.
....LECA Balls nga about 2L is P145; if 4L is P288, if 10L is P650 nalang.
....LUSHGro nga 250mL is P290; if 500mL is P450; if 1L is P720 nalang... set A & B na ni.

One thing lang pod is by 3rd week of December pa maabot sa Cebu ang mga items.
Just tell me what you need nga wala sa Cebu, and i'll see what i can do.

What do you guys think?

PS: Mga MODS, nag-canvass pa ko ha if feasible ba ni... I'll post nalang at buy & sell if klaro na ni. Tnx.
