Really? Wapako ka experience gyud ana sir. But with my problem now nga usahay dili mu function ang screen, here is what I do to workaround. First I press the message shortcut sa keypad then the start menu shortcut then I end all tasks (using quickmenu) then mu work na balik akong screen. I think my problem is related to S2U2 but still making sure pa. Try it daw sir, hope it works! If now update your touchflow lang sa daw.

Pero on Stock ROM I have never experienced that!

Yehey touch dual na si Master meaning Naay custome ROM coming

I think you might want to built on this ROM:
[ROM] - NIKI Lite Project V2.1 - 3D Hardware Accelerated and 2D Optimized - xda-developers

Woot woot!!

@muzikfreakah: confirmed gyud! damaged flex cable; so, I ordered a brand new flex cable at P830.00 hongkong. hopefully, it will arrive in a week's time. You'd be surprised when you disassemble the HTC Nike, there is very little circuit board! It's all casing (housing), screen, and keypad. But the slider is built on metal parts which should last long.

@muzikfreakah: Yep! I opened it. I was not satisfied with having a none active touch screen when the slider is out. At first try I didn't find anything unusual; so, I put everything back together thinking it might have been some loose connector, but it wasn't. I was still having the problem.

Then I started scouring over the internet for the solution of which I came across a site describing how the flex cable becomes scratched over time by simply opening and closing the slider. Sounds impossible to me, so I opened the Nike again to inspect it, and whala, indeed it was scratch. I placed electrical tapes all over it including the metal part of the slider assembly of which it was rubbing against to prevent any contact. After putting it back together, I now have an intermittent functioning touch screen when the slider is out which leads me to conclude that the flex cable is damaged.

I totally agree on the Touch Dual's keypad. I've tried the xda stealth, but the TD is the best, so far, for pocket pc category. I wonder how the HP ipaq 610c performs. As for the wifi, it should have been included! There's more than enough space to accommodate, but business dictate to put the feature one by one on newer models. As for GPS, you can easily purchase a bluetooth receiver for $50-$75.

I will wait for the new flex cable and have a full functioning Nike before I start cooking any ROM for it. I wouldn't want to be misled by problems of the ROM caused by hardware...

wow... those are 2 pretty phones!

check this out!

[MWC09] - SPB Mobile Shell 3.0 Video - MyLostBlog

looks really interesting. (wonder if this will work on an omnia?)

after a couple of years, finally retired my e90. switched to an xperia for globe line. although I have to say the omnia (for my suncell) is still a lot faster but texting with the qwerty is so much more convenient. still might get a touch pro for my suncell this march though... will try and get an at&t touch fuze (same as touch pro) nicer gyud naa qwerty.

anyone have any opinions on which custom rom for xperia?

Mcw'09: Samsung OMNIA HD Makes Calls, Shoots 720P Video

this won't be a WinMo device?!?

they could have patterned it after Samsung Eternity... the video would be nice, though.
