If i were to have an ordinary t.v. would graphics be a big difference sa both consoles?

^ some developers just mirrors what they have on the Old Xbox then implement it to the Xbox 360. Thats why the "Gun" game is not really a Leap for a Next Gen looking but If you compare Tomb Raider Legends & GRAW of the 360 to its predecessor...its like Night & Day.

It does make a difference but these Next Gen consoles are design or was made for HD Heaven. Dead Rising has issues w/ non HD TV's also Peter Jacksons King Kong has that same issue as well. Dunno if they patch these games though.

If you have an HD TV...you will never want to hook your next gen console to a non HD TV.

heheh yeah i tried playing that in u.s. the fight night with an hdtv very nice, But in our house we only have standard t.v's not the Hd, so its useless to get 360 right ?

^^If you can get the 360 right now then why not. A lot of great games are coming on the 360 and let's face it... the original Xbox will be phased out very soon. You may not get the most out of the 360 at the moment with a Standard TV (it's like driving a Lamborghini on a 30Kph zone) but that's something you can invest on later.

It's not just the resolution that's different with Xbox and Xbox 360. It's the tremendous amount of raw power that 360 has over it's older brother. There's just more room for additional goodies on this machine.

It's quite a good price already but knowing there's something more in store for you on the newer console makes you wonder about stuff.

current price? hmmm.. I think an Asian Console from Maze is about P1800.00 + P5000.00 for mods. I highly discourage the modding (actually they just flash it) if you plan on making a serious account on Xbox Live. There aren't any security features that guard against flashed units yet but once MS get's that thing going..it's an instant ban for anyone caught.

Also if you do plan on buying a 360 try to check the online games and compatiblity list. US games are a lot more expensive compared to Asian release games. Most games debut on the US console though and some never make it to the Asian console.
