Default Problem with your Symbian Cellphone Software?

If you have problems with your Symbian Operated System cellphones, We might be able to help you.
Things to remember: :!:
 I can only help you with the software, not repair your cellphones. I am not a technician.
 I DID NOT CREATE SYMBIAN SOFTWARE. I may know stuff but don't get disapointed if I can't find any answers to your problem. I can only help you from what I know.
 This is for FREE...just want to help fellow members.
 Whatever solutions that I may advise, I cannot guarantee any possitive results.
 I will not be liable to any damage that may result. You will just have to do it at your own risk. BUT of corse I will not give you some advise if it will be risky or might damage your phone permanently.
 For those who knows things about symbian, please do share... It would be a great help for all of us, even myself.

Actually bai, in symbian OS, it is less faster ila development and upgrades compared to windows in our PC. It takes years pa unlike sa windows, after one month lang, naa na updates.
In symbian, what you can do is check your Firmware version. You can check it by pressing *#0000# and it will show your current version and date. If it shows V.5.0 or above it means thats already updated. While the date shows when was it updated.
With regards to viruses sad, its different with symbian. Slow sad ang virus development sa mobile phones compared to windows. Minimal pa kaau ang chances of getting viruses on your phone. BUT if you are the type na likes to download and upload softwares sa imo phone, you can instal anti-virus softwares to your phone. There are anti-virus softwares sad for our phones like sa windows. One popular anti-virus for our mobile phone is SIMWORKS Anti-virus. It will check all files installed in your mobile phone for viruses.
You can check this link for more details... http://www.simworks.biz/sav/AntiVirus.php?id=home

Handy File Manager? Bati mana bai... mao na ang pinaka bati na file explorer sa symbian. ang nindot kay Seleq or Smart File Manager. If you have one of that, you can see all the files, even the hidden files. (unlike sa Handy file manager) Ayaw jud erase any files in system folder drives C:/D:/or Z: coz those are phone memory and system folders. What you can only delete is in Drive E: which is your Memory card (MMC).

What you need is software called Task Manager. This can compress and remove unwanted and unused files in your phone. It will free-up your phone memory space.

Wala pa raba bai pero im sure the reason ana na result everytime ka mo start is either dili siya compatible sa series 60 (N6600) or ang imo installer mismo is corrupted. Try to find another type of software for that.

Default Problem with your Symbian Cellphone Software?

i want to upgrade my firmware (v3.42.1) on my N6600 to the latest version. i have a fully functional opera browser (NOT the trial version) in it.

Q: will the upgrading to the latest version not affect opera?

basin dili na unya modagan ang akong opera browser or basin mag-trial version na unya hinuon. any insights? or basin dili ni related sa symbian OS.
