I will be moving all threads dealing with these systems. These systems are gaming systems and would better fit in that forum. Though some may be portable and may be considered gizmos/gadgets, they are more suited to Software & Games than this forum which primarily consists of MP3 players, phones, and others of the same type.

I just bought PS3. Im really a newb in this console. So can i save movies in the hard drive? or connect an external HD to play HD movies?

Boss, you can save movies such as .avi, .mpg files, to the PS3 HDD, via USB flash drive,
Same goes by playing movies n music via external HD.

after pplugging go the movie icon, then if you find the externa HD divice select option, then show all,
it must be outside the folder, if its movies, or else, it will treated as 1 file.
