... mao pud ni akong nakita nga sitwasyon karon. dili jud mahimo ni sa pipila lang ka tao. as a newbie in terms sa gidugayon dire sa istorya.net daghan ko ug nindot nga experiences with the group so i hope dili ta magkaatras tungod kay bacn mutagam na hinuon ang mga naglihok kay way supporta gkan sa uban ug hinuon magkaimprove ang atong group kay organization naman jud ni atoa...

... willing ko mu-support sa group sa kutob sa akong mahimo. i just want to add lang sad sa suggestion nga if ever we will set meetings we will hold it lang in a place nga dili mabuwag ang uban. murag set-up nga classroom ba if pwede para ma catch ang attention sa tanan n para sad makuha jud nato ug ma take-up ug unsa ang naa sa atong agendas.

... i agree sa committee for the newbies nga interested to join with our activities. hope ma realize ni nga set-up.

i agree with you guys. i am also very much willing to support the group activities.

insakto si monrose, kuwang ta ug mga leaders or officers, and man powers will just follow if naa na tay mga officers in charge for every acitvity.(mao siguro wa mu txt back si cotton candy nako kay busy na kayu sya)

:mrgreen: agree jed ko ana suggestion nimo galvin.... and sa kadto sad giingon ni sis EJ nga kung mag meeting ta.. we do it in a close room or classroom setting para maklaro jed ug discuss ang mga topics.... kay sa food choices man gud saba kaayo and daghan people all around us mao ma distract jed ta.. then dili sad magtakdo ug oras... ang uban mouli na lang nya mao pay pag-abot sa uban....

The Current set-up now as I see it is that our two beautiful Janices are doing the bulk of work here. We're not saying they're not doing things right or they cant handle it, in fact they're doing one hell of a job! But then again eventually the burden of doing it all will take its toll that is if wala pa , musabot baya ta na naa sila lain life aside from istorya and work, and family to take care of. Forming committees is a great idea this way a certain committee can hold a group meeting on its own so there's no need to wait for the whole group. Then lets say the committee chairmen will hold a meeting and present their ideas and programs to make things simple. The venue I think would depend on the occassion, if its a formal meeting then a classroom is ideal but for EBs and informal ones, public places will do. I strongly suggest forming a sort of welcome group as monrose29 said, to welcome newbies or firstTimers in EBs and introduce them around. This is will surely make a lot of active istoryans OnLine to finally show themselves in the flesh. Hoping this matter will be given due attention it deserves.

Guys everybody's effort is very impressive. When istorya started, ang pinakaunang EB nag.abot ang mga dili kaila tanan. It has always been that way so far as dinha pa ko, nga bisan walay kaila dili gyud ma OP, mura na'g kaila na kaayo inig abot sa meeting or EB. Although, naa gyud uban nga mahadlok pa gihapon, pero dili angay maulaw basta Istoryan, tagdon gyud na, ambot sad kaha sa karon nga mga bag.ong actives. Basta encourage yourselves lang gyud nga basta Istorya gathering, dili mag pundok pundok and entertainon gyud ang bag.o and siya ra usa. But the idea of having a sort of "newbie committee" is good.

Pwede i-buddy system lang. For example, naay thread about outreach and naay gusto moadto pero wala siyay kaila, naa dayon mo volunteer from the active members to be his/her buddy, and sila magsabot asa sila magkita and sila sad kuyog all the way until the gathering is over.

Scarcity of leaders, tungod ni ang sa unang motabang gyud kay mga moderators ang mangunay and mga mods karon halos busy sila tanan sa work. Kinsa naman lang mods gani diha sa Cebu nga naa basta naay event.

BeoR and Galadriel, does this call for a revamp of the moderator list na ba? Hehehe... I noticed daghan nang mga active members like monrose29 and cottoncandy and psyche08? And nanotice na sad naku, nangawagting na ang mga karaang moderators, pulos sobra ka busy. But I know they're there pa gihapon, Istoryan by heart. Pede cguro pun.an nato ug gamay okay ko ana.

Tshirt printing/orders officers ( katong na-ay mga abilidad mo printa og tshirt.... para deli na ta mo bayad og mahal para sa atong tshirt.. i know daghan kahibaw ana..so that we can have the option to bring our own tshirt or purchase the tshirt with the regular price..)

fund raising officers ( kini murag ma o ney taga-an jud nato og pag tagad... as of now c janice ang active ka ayo anehh...lets help cotoncandy to do this things... hina ot nga deli unta magka atras bahh.. na sugdan na man nehh nato di bah.. so ato na jud na padayon.. nindot ka ayo ang feelings if maka tabang ka sa imogn isig ka tawo.. bisan imong piso lang dako na ka ayo ng kantidad para sa aton mga gipangtabangan....
