HELP. Need Your Advices.

Hi all,

I have an problem. I live in a subdivision and the houses are built in a "row type" style. I have a small car and I just park it infront of my house. The kids of my neighbors are very abusive. They play to the extent of climbing up or hanging onto the grills of my other neighbors. Some even pull out the plants and flowers. One time, my car was delibrately scratched with a nail by a kid who lives in the same block and he did 3 scratches but I just let it pass. And now, a purified water delivery boy was riding his traysikad fetching empty water gallons from our block and he was pushed hard by my neighbor's daughter and he hit my car which then gave it a deep big scratch on the side and a small dent at the back, a very noticeable damage. He went to me and confessed it all. What should I do? could you guys give me a legal advise about this?

you need to put up a little barrier that is noticeable,more or less a meter away from your car,like a fence of bamboo that will protect your property.and about the damaged? will if you have a comprehensive insurance of your car?then you can claim,if not better do it right away,you have to insured it.

Thanks Drannej for the reply. Yes it does have an insurance and claiming it would cost you 3k for participation. It is ok for me to pay it all I dont mind it. I was just wondering if I could ask for contribution from the parents of the kids so that at least, it will be a lesson to them to teach their kids not to delibrately damage other peoples property. I dont know if this sounds right.

Correct bro. thats what I told the parents lets settle this amicably but they wont listen instead they provoke me to anger. So I just said lets cut this conversation. Mao ra to then I left. What if this happens again? their kids are really abusive and they wont even watch over them or reprimand them. I think it is better for me to leave the place and stay in a house with fence and parking lot.

You just answered your own question. And that is the best answer. Good fences make good neighbors.

yah I guess you should put something, any barrier perhaps or fence. though it may not exactly stop someone from intruding, at least there's something that says u dont want them beyond those bounds for some reasons. it gives them some thought that they are crossing something that's meant to be off limits.
it actually makes a difference at least it will make them think twice.

Did you try to complain to them na ba about that? If not. MOVE. But murag imong gihasol imo self ana. I think you can file something naman against them. Abuse naman na of private property. Haha. Gayaw2 ko. Murag kbaw. Hehe.
