Default Men's Rights Group

Greetings:

I'm organizing a men's rights group for the protection and prevention of men falling victim to scheming and abusive women. This group will not be a group that condones, protects or coddles men who abuse and beat women. This group will respect the rights of women.

Some of you might be familiar with RA 9262 otherwise known as Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004. There are provisions there that are unfair to us men. There is this Men's Rights group I'm trying to get contact witn that is probably based in Manila which advocate the amendment of this law. The reasons are obvious when you view their website at www.DiegoSilangMovement.org

There are also a lot of other instances where men's rights are violated. imagine being framed up for rape, finding out that your wife cheated and you are supporting a child not biologically yours, or simpler things like being physically and verbally abused by your wife and many more. Imagine yourself as a single father in emotional turmoil as you discover your child whose custody is with the mother is being subject to her abuse. The possibility of women abusing men are indeed endless.

Now, i propose that we who are interested to form a cebu-based men's rights group join hands and meet up so we can organize ourselves to share our experiences, knowledge, and time to fight for a common cause. Our group would be an advocacy and support group.

How come this is only protection against women's abuse? There are men who get frequently abused by homosexuals, you know..

Default Let's meet and organize

friends, thanks for showing your support and coming out of your shells to show how you truly feel.

lets organize this. i propose we meet at bo's coffee shop capitol branch in front of cebu doctor's hospital on october 23, 2009, friday, 7:30pm.

our agenda would be:

1. introducing ourselves
2. sharing our thoughts and experiences involving men's rights, with interaction
3. electing our first set of officers
4. setting our regular meeting schedule and venue
5. other related matters

if anyone here has a suggestion, please feel free to react.

Kaluoy pd sa imong kuya....the reason why there isn't any law that protects the rights of the men...its because, now a days they are a lot of women being abused by men...and rare, cases that men are being abused by women. Siguro, pag daghan na manumbong na ingon anaon diay sila sa ilang mga wife or gf....ma implement tingali ang law. Men being battered should come out in the open....yes, men deserve justice too....kay bsan ug panalagsa ra....naa jd mga babae na hilig mang-daog2x ug lalaki.Hope and pray that your kuya will open up his eyes....kay luoy pud cya....padre de pamilya gud cya....he deserve to be respected too.
