The good news is karlo alamares, the organizer of the diego silang movement has somewhat given a positive feedback on spreading the movement to cebu. so we dont have to form a new group. we just got to have the movement organized here. moreover, he invited me to contribute to the movement's blog which i gladly accepted. |

that's exactly what we are doing..being a man and facing the truth...and the truth is, we need to step up and move fast to organize this group and fight for men's rights too. |

1. It is manly to respect and protect the rights of women. Being a gentleman is indeed manly. 2. It is manly to know your rights and protect yourself at all times from violations of your rights. 3. It is manly to support one's children and exert all efforts to protect your children and your rights as a father. 4. It is not manly to be ignorant of or play blind to laws like RA 9262 which is unfair to men. It is also not manly not to advocate the amendment of such law so as to have the false feeling of machismo. 5. It is manly to protect oneself from falling prey to women who use RA 9262 in their unjust and unfair schemes. Being innocent and still going to jail or being divested of one's property as the result of falling to such kind of schemes is an experience no man on earth would want. |

UP jud ko ani. If women have rights to be protected against abuse...equally so do men. Kay naa jud ko kaila nga victim not just of abuse but also of violence (i kid thee not). Kulatahon xa sa iyang wife, gipiton sa kwarta, & as far as i know ang anak nga iyang gbuhi...dli daw iyaha (I don't have solid evidence on this) So UP ko ani..for this person I know & for other men like me who are experiencing abuse.
