A GUIDE...DOs and DON'Ts in CEBU

hellllpppppppppp! im a fresh grad from manila and im planning to work in cebu. i still dont know the places in cebu, where i'll stay, how much money im supposed to bring and if i should deal with everyone . all i know is the address of the company im planning to work. any advice? anything i should know before i fly to cebu? how about the "bewares"?

.. this shouldn't be in the destination board coz it deals with cebuanos' attitude not cebu as a place.

another is.... check out the real estate thread in the forum... you might find a place there na swak sa budget mo.... what are u looking for ba? apartment? room?

how much money? it depends on what u are getting...where u are staying while u are house-hunting.

i would say that most cebuanos are naturally helpful....after all.... we are a tourist destination... ingrained na yata dito ang tumulong sa kapwa.

another... if u are not used to eating street food.... DO NOT EAT JUST ANYWHERE. baka first week of work pa lang eh absent ka na kc u got diarrhea.

As much as possible, befriend a number of trustworthy people. They can help you a lot.

I agree just be humble, a lot of cebuanos don't like manilinyos.

Just be good to everyone but at the same time cautious. Start to have a close small group of friends in your office. But don't mess with and piss off Cebuanos.hehe.
