cebuanos are really very hard to pls...pero kung makuha pud nimo iyang respeto, nindot pud kaau...cebuanons are friendly especially kung ang tao makasaligan...

I love Cebu! Well not at first hehehe.. but once you get used to stuff here in Cebu, you'll love the place. I'm a true blue Bacoleña, but I've learned to love the city of Cebu! Been here since 2004 and had my share of not so good people here in Cebu. But all in all the peeps are okay here..
My pinaka hate here in Cebu?
Taxi drivers who say they don't have change. Daghan na jud taxi drivers who say that to me.. ang pinaka worst k my bill was 105.00. i gave 150.00 k wla na jud change.. and he said sorry wala koi change and i said uhmm same here wala pod ko change.. and i asked kng pwd 100 nlng.. as in ayaw jud, but i can understand naman why he wont give it to me for a 100 nlng.. the thing is, he kept insisting na wla jud sya change and all, and gkapoy nakog argue k im so late for work.. i ended up giving him the whole 150. unfortunately, i didnt think of getting his plate number, etc k i was sooo late for work.. ana lang!
Still I loooove Cebu! nag jeep nlng ko! hahahaha! =)

if possible learn to speak bisaya the shortest time possible for you.
if you cud do that then ul be fine here in cebu.

Been in Cebu & Manila...

- Kung pananglit may plano ka nga moadto sa Manila, learn to speak and understand Tagalog.

- Kung sakaling may balak kang pumuntang Cebu, learn to speak and understand Cebuano or Visayan dialect.

- imho, ang pinakaimportante at pinakasimpleng rule >> respeto at pakikisama!

Cebu is a great place. lesser traffic than Manila, lots of malls and great people

hey! ano skul ka grad? I worked in SGF Makati too... I heard SGV cebu isn't as hectic compared to Makati pero ingat lang din. Auditing can change ur attitude, u know! GOodluck
